This symposium has been arranged regularly since 2017, when Shandong University first organized it and was successfully held in Asia, i.e., China (Jinan - 2018; Beijing - 2021), Japan (Gunma - 2019), and Korea (Busan - 2020). For the first time, the 6th SFM will be organized outside Asia and held in Europe, i.e., at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland (2024).

 

This is a huge opportunity to unite the scientific community from academia and the industry from Europe and the entire world and become an unrivaled discussion platform addressing the most innovative aspects of broadly understood silsesquioxane chemistry. The scientific issues will reflect the fundamental topics on the synthesis of molecules to materials and their applications based on their specific properties, thus reflecting the importance of silsesquioxane materials and technologies.  

 

During the 6SFM2024, we will offer participation in regular lecture sessions and presentation of poster sessions. A parallel invitation is for Ph.D. Students to participate in 1.5 days of workshops devoted to synthesizing silsesquioxane-based materials via specific methodologies, i.e., electrospinning, extrusion, etc.

 

The conference will take place in the Centre of Advanced Technologies and Faculty of Chemistry of  Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, on the Morasko campus, located north of Poznań.
